Booking & payment

A quote is confirmed as a booking on payment of a 20% deposit, which secures your date and starts the design work. The balance is due 14 days before the display. Peak dates (November weekends, New Year's Eve) book out first and are strictly first-come.

What's always included

Show design for your site, trained firing crew, site visit or assessment with risk assessment, public liability insurance documents for your venue or authority, set-up and full clear-up of the firing site. Low-noise versions of any display are available at no extra charge.

Weather policy

Firework displays proceed in rain — it does not affect safety or the show. The only weather that can stop a display is dangerously high wind at firing time, judged solely by our senior firer on safety grounds. If wind forces a postponement we will fire the display on a mutually agreed new date for only the direct re-attendance costs — the fireworks and design carry over. No display will ever be fired unsafely to avoid a postponement.

Cancellation by you

More than 28 days before: deposit retained, nothing further due. 28 days or fewer: 50% of the balance is due, as your fireworks will have been ordered and your date reserved against other bookings. 7 days or fewer: full balance due. We will always try to re-book rather than charge — dates we can re-sell are refunded beyond the deposit.

Your site & responsibilities

You confirm you have the landowner's and (where applicable) venue's permission for the display. We advise on neighbour and livestock notifications and mark crowd lines at the site visit; stewarding of guests behind those lines on the night is the organiser's responsibility unless crewed stewarding is quoted.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our total liability otherwise is limited to the value of the booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
